First, I need to let you know the instructions I am about to provide are on the assumption that you are currently using Outlook Express, that it is configured correctly, and is sending/receiving your email successfully If these assumptions are not correct then please stop now and resubmit your question with details about any problems you are currently experiencing

If these assumptions are correct, then follow these steps to switch from Outlook Express to Outlook:

Open Outlook, click on 'File', click on 'Import and Export...', when the Wizard starts, highlight 'Import Internet Mail Account Settings', click 'Next', the wizard will prompt you for information (Note: If you need help answering the wizards prompts, you can still open Outlook Express and view settings)

If you would like to import your old emails and address book, follow these steps:

Open Outlook, click on 'File', click on 'Import and Export...', when the Wizard starts, hightlight 'Import Internet Mail and Addresses' click 'Next', the Wizard will prompt you for information (If you had a lot of folders and/or old mail, it may take awhile to import, so be patient).

After you are done importing, close Outlook (and Outlook Express if it is open) Then open Outlook, a pop-up window will appear asking if you would like to make Outlook your default mail handler
