How do people type the web sites in blue and all you need to do is click them and it goes there? Will this work in my Messages?

This question was answered on February 12, 2002. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

In most programs, when you type the address of the website, in the correct syntax (or format), the program automatically underlines it, makes it blue and turns it into a link

Example: www.computerproblems.com

Other suggestions:

1 You can also open your Internet browser to the site you would like to make a link to and copy the address into your document

2 Some programs will also allow you to insert a link by using options in the Menu bar Sometimes you can also highlight the website address in your document, right click, and make it a hyperlink.

3 There are several programs that just won't link to a website by using a hyperlink

4 If all these fail, try searching the Help files that are provided with the program or application software.

You did not mention what program you are using for messaging, so if none of these suggestions help, it may not be an option with that particular software.
