I have an XK35c which is about 2 yrs. old. It has worked OK until 2 days ago. Now when I try to print, I get the usual dialog boxes (or whatever you call them) on the screen, the timer starts, but the printing is delayed for several minutes. What has happened and how do I fix it?

To answer this question we will need more information Did you make any changes to your printer or computer previous to this problem? What are the dialog boxes that are showing on the screen? Have you checked all the cables to make sure they are attached properly? Will your printer do a self print test? Will it do a print test from your PC? To do a print test from your printer check your users manual To do a print test from the pc double click on My Computer, then on Printer, right click your printer icon, select Properties, under the general tab you should see a button for Print Test If your printer will complete a self print test it is not the printer If you have delays with a print test from your pc then perhaps it could be a delay in the cable meaning your cable might be bad Without knowing what the dialog boxes say it is difficult to tell you exactly what the problem may be.
