In Windows ME, how do I reassign hard drive letters? I have a combination of IDE and SCSI devices. For some reason windows lists my SCSI zip drive as(G:a removable) after my four IDE hard drives as(C:{primary partion, all others are extended partions},D,E,F Local Drives) and my SCSI hard drive(H:Local drive) then my cd-Roms (I,J) then my Compactdisk card reader(K: as a removable). I would like to have my SCSI hard drive in the G position and my SCSI zip drive in the K position.

Thanks..

Joe

Go into the Control Panel, under System, Device Settings open up the hard drive or zip drive and click on Properties, under the Settings Tab you can reassign the drive letter there, change it to the letter you want and reboot, when it comes back up you should have the drive letters changed.
