I have a logitech optical mouse that keeps jumping all over the place for no apparent reason. It's clean, as is the mouse mat. I'm running windows XP Pro.

A: Not certain if your recently installed XP Pro over another operating system, recently added the mouse and when this problem started happening I would suggest downloading the mouse drivers for the Logitech mouse that is for Windows XP Pro

You may do this by contacting the Logitech website at:

http://www.logitech.com/cf/support/xp_mice_tb.cfm

Logitech recently released a new version of MouseWare which is compatible with Windows XP.

Then click on: Download XP drivers here!

Installing MouseWare version 9.3x or earlier into Windows XP is NOT supported MouseWare version 9.4x or higher are the only versions supported under Windows XP.
