What can I do about pop up ads?

I run Windows XP, what ad blocker program would you recommend so I can stop those pop up windows?

There are many pop up blockers out there I like POW You can download and use it for free by going to the following link:

http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/pow.htm

It requires you to add individual ads one at a time, but once added you won't have to see them again
