How do I save 1,000's of e-mails into my computer that I have log-in at one of those free web-based e-mail services?I've lost e-mails in the past from these "free" web-based e-mail services.

The simple way to save emails onto your computer from a web-based email service is to simply save them in a folder on your hard drive You can later copy the folder onto another type of media (such as CDR or floppy disks) if you don't want to take up that space on your hard drive

Just open the individual email as if you were going to read it and go "file" in the toolbar at the top of Internet Explorer Then select "save as" and name the email whatever you like Make sure the desired folder is selected in the gray popup menu where it says "save in" I would suggest saving it as "Web archive, single file" if you want all of the content from that page to be included
