How can I maintain and protect my floppy drive from problems and defects? What are the necessary precautionary measures and tips do I have to do or make to eliminate damages and problems in my floppy disk drive?

Floppy disk drives are pretty easy to take care of The only thing I would recommend is to not stick anything into them that doesn't belong (which includes anything other than a floppy disk) If a floppy drive starts to give you problems, simply replace it The current cost of a brand new one is less than $20
