How do I change an image's extension when saving?

Whenever I try to save an image off the internet it automatically saves as bmp. How can I change this?

When you right click on the image you wish to save, a window will appear in which you'll select "Save Picture As..."

The "Save Picture" window will now be displayed on your monitor In the middle, near the bottom, you'll see the "file name" entry box and directly below it will be "save as type" entry box

Click the down arrow in the "save as type" entry box and select JPEG.

Then Save it.
