Morning Folks,

My wife installed an OCR program and now that I've uninstalled it using its uninstaller utility, I am left with a single folder on my desktop. It's listed as a SYSTEM FOLDER.

How do I get rid of a system folder?

I can't get the properties of it, I can't drag it to recycle, I can't highlight it and press delete.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Try double-clicking on My Computer, then click on Desktop In the preview pane of Windows Explorer, you should see all the shortcuts that are currently on your desktop Right-click on the one you want to delete and choose Delete from the submenu If you still can not delete it, then drag it to your C:\Temp folder and leave it there.

The OCR software manufacturer/developer should have supplied you with a toll free number to call for support They may have a better another resolution for you You may also find useful information on their website.
