We have poor dialup access via old phone lines. DSL too expensive; COX not available.
Q. Is WiFi something that will help us? How does it work?
Any help with be appreciated. Thanks.

Wi-Fi provides for wireless Ethernet transmission primarily between laptops and local access nodes that attach to your standard corporate network Normally Wi-Fi networking chips are located in hardware that hangs on a ceiling or wall and provides access within a 300-foot area
For now, this Wi-Fi technology is used with cable or DSL
