Mine is Windows2000 system. I had intellimouse(ps/2) mouse, but suddenly some days before my mouse stops responding. I thought the problem is with the mouse. So, i switch over to logitech serial mouse (Its the one im using now and my mouse is connected to com 1 port). After connecting the mouse, it works fine few minutes ,but gets freeze after some time and rarely it recovers. I've tried reinstalling whole windows, but of no use.

My mouse works fine after booting but only for few minutes, but then gets freeze. I've checked the IRQ oc com1 port, it is 4 and there is no conflict. please help me.
