Sometimes my computer will not shut down. Control,Alt,Del won't even work. I believe it is a windows 98 problem but I'm not sure. The only way to turn it off when this happens is the power button. One time that didn't even work, I had to unplug it. What can I do to prevent this in the future?

This is a known 98 problem Have you downloaded all of the critical updates and patches? If not, this may solve the problem Be aware that on some machines this is a permanent problem, there is no fix.

To get to critical updates, click on start button and at the top of the menu it should say "updates" Click on this and follow the instructions on the Microsoft site.
