Monitor problems

My monitor was in very good working condition. I moved it from california to kentucky. Now nothing is showing when I am booting my pc. Monitor is going to power save mode as soon as I start the machine. Monitor is not responding to self test also. Anybody knows why and how to fix this thing

Go to start settings control pannel and go to display under settings there should a place to go to remove power save mode Also just for kickers, I would get your video card tested too
