Try looking at the sound card

when i turn the computer on i get two beeps then one beep.

my cd rom and dvd dont work.The master boot disk informs me there is no cd rom.

Hi,

Check for conflicts in the device manager in hte control panel.

Another step would be to remporarily disconnect the CD and DVD and then reseat the audio card

After the audio card reloads then hook the CD and DVD back up.

If there is still a problem try updfating your drivers.
