Hi we have pc's using Windows 2000 PRO here.

Everything works fine unless you pull the network cable

out of the back of the pc and it blue screens and re-

starts. Also with the laptops when you are home with a

cable internet connection and you VPN in to the company

and when you disconnect from the VPN you get blue screen

and restarts. This is happening to brand new machines.

We had them replaced and re-built the hard drive and are

still having this problem. We have seen theses in some HP's and allot of Compaqs. I have called everyone on this and they can't find an answer so I thought I would give you a try.

I have already installed all of the latest service packs.

thanks,

Larry

Hi,

What kind of nic cards are you using? Its always good to have all the nic cards be the same Have all the nics be intel ether express

10/100 nics, or 3com PCI 10/100 nics.Check the nic cards in the server you are connecting to as well as the machines that are connecting to the servers.
