While trying to boot-up my system my hard drive starts making clicking noises(sounds like a frog croking). The system will boot-up (ocasionally),but when it does I get several error messages. One of the messsages will say- While initializing An I/o subsytem driver failed File-.\IOSBsys is corrupt or system is low on memory. Another message is- Disk boot failure, or Disk Write Error unable to write in disk C Data or files may be lost. I suspect a virus, my computer if 3 yrs old.

Thanx in advance

Hi,

It sounds like your read/write heads might be crashing, or you might

have a problem with the boot sector on your hard drive I would trying running some hardware utilities like scandisk or defrag to

see if this will straighten out your problem.
