Make sure you have downloaded all the Windows Updates and patches from the start button (click Windows Updates)from the left bottom corner of the desktop
1.Occasionally, a program will quit for apparently no reason and
present you with a window that says "This program has preformed an
illegal operation and will be shut down If the problem persists,
contact the program vendor"
2.An illegal operation error usually means that a program was forced
to quit because it did something Windows didn't like.It then displays this error window.
3.You need to check system board manual and find out the largest
memory the system board can support.
4.If you can add more memory, make sure the bus speed matches.
A mismatch of PC100 and PC133 would render the computer to run
at the slower bus speed of PC100.
