Try a new video card

whenever i change the screen resolution from 800x600 to 640x480 or try to play a game on full screen, the moniter seems to go to sleep and cannot "wake up". The computer cannot be restarted unless i turn it off manually. Please help. Michael Schultz

It sounds like it might be a video card problem I would try swapping out video cards.
