Click the START BUTTON, select SETTINGS, click CONTROL PANEL, click the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS icon, look for YAHOO and click UNINSTALL to remove Yahoo Close CONTROL PANEL and shut your computer down for 20 seconds (completely off)then power up and reboot your computer To check that Yahoo was completely uninstalled go back to the ADD/REMOVE in the CONTROL PANEL to make sure it is not listed If by chance you still get the same message you can go to the DOS PROMPT and type DIR/p to look for any mention of a Yahoo file in the directory of your hard drive The /p gives you one page at a time For the next page press the space bar If you find it listed as a harddrive directory you can type RD YAHOO If it is a file listed within a directory or on the root directory you type del c:\Yahoo (c represents whatever letter your drive uses for its name of the root directory be it D: or other)Type it exactly as it is shown if it has Yahoo.exe or other extention type it exact for successful elimination of Yahoo and all of it contents Good Luck!
