I am unable to access my "cookies" file. Every time I try to find it, the computer jams up.

You can get extensive "cookie" information from http://www.cookiecentral.com/faq/ The first thing they say is to make certain you close your browser first because all your cookies are held in memory until you close your browers If you use Netscape you would look for a file name cookies.txt and remove the entries you do not want In IE you go to the cookies folder and delete the files matching servers you do not want.

If you want to eliminate having cookies IE and Netscape both have options allowing you to accept all, some, or none of your incoming cookies

Check out the web address and you can decide what you will need to do to accomplish these changes or delete cookies without a system freeze.

Good Luck!
