A machine on our company network is telling the user his password has expired. When I type in a new password, I get the messsage that the user name or password are not typed in correctly. I then tried to logon as administrator, the system still tells me the logon name or password are incorrect and I know they are correct. I have gone into the bios and selected the administrator and user password options and typed in correct passwords.

You may possibly need the services of a data recovery company if the data on the machine is critical, otherwise I would try reloading the operating system???
