I have a new ABIT AT7 motherboard that has no legacy ports. At boot the bios indicates a "checksum error" and instructs me to hit del or F1 to proceed. Trouble is my Microsoft USB keyboard is not detected so I cannot. Any suggestions ?

Hi,

Problem:The Bios Rom chip might be bad on the motherboard. Also it could be another component on the motherboard.

Solution: If you can, I would return the motherboard and get a new one.
