HI

IM NOT VERY COMPUTER LITERATE SO IM NOT QUITE SURE OF SOME OF THE QUESTIONS ASKED ABOVE LIKE.. HOW MUCH RAM, PROCESSOR TYPE OR SIZE OF HARD DRIVE,VIDOE CARD BRAND. WHICH IM SURE IS IMPORTANT INFO YOU NEED..WITH MY LUCK. ANYWAY....I'V HOOKED AND UNHOOK AND MOVED MY COMPUTER MANY TIMES...WELL THIS TIME I BROUGHT IT TO MY BOYFRIENDS HOUSE AND HOOKED IT UP. WHEN I TURN IN ON IT SHOWS A BLACK SCREEN WITH A BLUE BAR GOING ACROSS IT READING "VIDEO CABLE CONNECTED?" NOW ITS SAID SOMETHING LIEK THAT BEFORE BECAUSE I HAD FORGOT TO TURN ON THE COMPUTER AND JUST THE SCREEN WAS ON....NOW BOTH ARE ON AND I CANT DO ANYTHING TO IT BUT TURN THE BUTTON ON THE POWER PLUG BAR OFF....IF I TRY TO TURN THE COMPUTER OFF ITSELF IT WILL NOT SHUT OFF. I HOPE YOU SOMEWHAT UNDERSTAND THIS AND YOU CAN HELP ME. THANK YOU KATIA

It sounds like there might be a problem with your video card.I would try replacing that and see what happans I also noticed you are running windows 98 with 6MB of ram Just a reminder, windows 98 needs a minimum on 16MB of ram to run efficiently.If you get a chance, please see about upgrading your ram PCs love memory and processor speed.
