When I move the mouse pointer over the desktop icons, they (the icons) dance around the screen interchanging their positions constantly. This makes it extremely difficult to actually get the mouse pointer over a required icon in order to open an application, etc. Re-starting the computer solves the problem for a short time (maybe 5 minutes) after which the problem returns. I have tried Scan Disk, Disk Cleanup and Defrag, but can't eliminate this effect.
