Please try adding more memory and a bigger hard drive

When i turn my computer on the dos screens comes up like normal, than to get to the windows screen it will flash 4 or 5 times. This is making my computer a lot slower.When i try to play a game the game won't be able to load online like it used to with a slower computer. I know that it has to do with the flashes inbetween the different screens. please help me.

Please try installing more memory!!!Windows 2000 server alone uses a good 2MB of ram for the operating system I would also suggest getting a bigger hard drive too You also might try moving some unnecessary files onto diskettes Also try running disk defrager.Please try clearing out the Temp Directory too I can almost promise you if you add more memory and a bigger hard drive your computer will run a lot faster!!!
