GATEWAY PERFORMANCE SERIES 500, WHEN SYSTEM IS TURNED ON, MONITOR IS BLACK, HAVE TRIED ALL CONNECTIONS. MONITOR HAS POWER, LIGHT IS GREEN. MONITOR IS MAKING A CLICKING NOISE. NO PICTURE WHAT SO EVER, HAVE TRIED BRIGHTNESS & CONTRASTS CONTROLS. DO YOU THINK THE PROBLEM IS THE MONITOR OR SOMETHING ELSE? WILL IT BE WORTH REPAIRING?

Hi,

Since you are getting power it sounds like its not the power supply. If you weren't getting any power at all, it would be the power supply Before trading in your monitor I would find another machine to test it on If it works on another machine then you need to try a new video card
