The system keeps getting a fault "dibeng.dll", regardless of which program I use. It also switches off for no reason. I am running it with no graphic accelaration, have updated graphic driver, have checked internal cooling fan. The system was bought second hand and had not been used for 2 years. I don't have any unuasl software and have reinstalled the O\S, even formatted the H-drive. would be most greatful if you could help

Hi John,

Problem: the Dibeng.DLL is an error that displays an incompatible display driver Use the standard VGA driver included in windows 98.

Solution: type start, settings, click control panel and then double click display secondly, on the settings tab, click advanced, and the click change on the adapter tab thirdly, click next, click display a list of all the drivers in a specific location,so you can select the driver you want, and then click next.fourthly, click show all devices, and then click (standard display types) in the mfg box.Five: in the models box, click standard display adapter (vga),click ok and then click next.six: click next, click next again, and the click finish.seven: click close, click close again, and then click yes to restart your computer
