How too Dual Boot multiple Hard Drives

i have a pc i built.i have a maxtor 60 gig and an ibm 40 gig hard drive installed.i have xp on the maxtor set as the master and m/e on the ibm.originally i had a partitioned hard drive with each os istalled on it. it caused serious problems and i ended up reformatting.how can i set this up to make it give me the option of booting to either os?while partitioned,it gave me this option.my printer is not compatible with xp and it's brand new.the pc has a soyo mother board with a amd 1.3 mhz processer.the model is k7vem-pro.i was told it can be done by changing the bios settings.

If you click on the START button, go to the HELP Menu and click the INDEX tab Type dual boot systems you can display the dual boot process Assuming you have not already completed this information Good Luck!
