Printer making random color

my colors have gone wild........hot pinks, lime green, etc.

when i try to print a picture, i am not able to, it says i need 486 x 620 colors which i thought i had....how can i fix this?

You might start with the printer software Uninstall and reinstall the installation program from the original CD's or floppy disks that came with your printer

If the problem is not resolved then try fixing it within the operating system Right click anywhere on the Desktop, go to Properties Click the Settings Tab Slide the slide button under the Desktop Area to the lowest level towards the word LESS Click the Apply button and shut down your system and power off your computer Wait about 10 seconds then power your computer back on This should fix the problem

If not call the printer manufacture Good Luck!
