I am trying to transfer files from my laptop to my PC. Through ethernet. This is my problem i am not sure how to do this.

Hi,

There are various ways to do this Just get a laplink cable.Its a cable that has a db25 male on both ends,attach both ends in a parrallel port.Also you can configure your labtop as a host or client under start/programs/accessaries/communications.Then select networks and dial-up connection.Choose make new connections (There is a wizard that will guide you).
