Why am I getting duplicate email?

I receive e-mail in duplicate,including the time. The message remains highlited and both envelopes show unopened even after I have read it.

Your problem could be the options you have checked with downloading your email Upon checking your profile, I see you are using MSN MSN is start to move over to more of a webmail based setup, and if you are using an email program such as Outlook or Eudora, you should check to make sure once you download your email, you remove it from the server where MSN stores it This may solve your duplicate problem

In Outlook;

Go to the tools menu, select email accounts, check the view email accounts button, highlight your email account and select change, select more settings, click the advanced tab, and make sure the leave mail on the server button is unchecked
