Check all the cables.make sure power switch is on

Why won't my monitor turn on? My PC boots up, but the monitor does nothing. I've checked all connections. I also swapped out the motherboard w/ different video cards and the monitor still won't turn on. I tried using a different monitor, and that didn't work either. My PC boots up, but the monitor does nothing. Please help!

Brightness and Contrast controls.
