Can I restore my video settings?

After leaving safe mode choice #1, I have large websites,icons,large print on websites and fuzzy websites

Have Win 98 second edition

Trust you can advise to get back to standard default

This question was answered on December 5, 2002. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


Best guess would be your video driver is either corrupted, or simply reset to low resolution

Be sure you are not still booting into safe mode Then, right click on the desktop screen Click "properties" then "settings".

See if Windows will let you boost your video settings

If not, assume your video drivers have been corrupted Sometimes, the correct drivers can be hard to find

Hopefully, you still have the original restore CD which came with your Compaq PC.
