What is wrong with my hard drive

When i start up my computer it says cannot read Drive C. What should i do?

You must troubleshoot your hard drive file system, check CMOs setup to confirm that bios recognizes the drive and that CMOS settings are correct for the hard drive > bott from a floppy disk and run FDISK, from the FDISK menu display the partition information > if FDISK says the parttition table is missing or corrupted, then restore the master boot record program with the command FDISK/MBR and try to reboot from the hard drive again If this command solves the problem, then immediately run a current version of an antivirus software to check for a virus, if the problem is not a virus the sectors on the hard drive are fading, you will have to replace this hard drive
