I can not save a JPEG picture on my hard drive as when i right click on it, it defaults to BITMAP.

There is a drop down menu to choose sve as type but whrn I click on the arrow button there are no other options beside BITMAP. I used to be able to save JPEG as a JPEG. Is ther a box I have to check or uncheck somewhere?

Thank you.

You can go back in time with your setting before you computer lost the ablility to save the jpeg by going to.

start, run "msconfig" in the run box, then go to what is called Launch System Restore and click on it then follow the prompts when you get to the calander pick a date in which your were able to save the jpeg files and your computer will do the rest for you and then when you are finished all you have to do is restart the computer to have the settings take place.
