Why is attachment not showing?

Hi,

A friend of mine often forwards me emails that include attachments. The trouble is none of these attachments will open. My friend uses AOL and when I double click on the email attachment he sends me a window opens asking me if I want to save to disk or open. I choose open and another email window opens with the attachment but it is always blank, I cannot see the attachment.

I notice when I choose the open option for the attachment the attachment has a .eml file attachment.

I have IE 5.5 and Outlook Express 5.50 versions on my PC. When other people send me email with attachments those attachments always open. Can you help me solve this issue please? Thanks.

The reason it is not openning is because you are getting a incorrect spelling of email what you are getting is a .eml file attachment.
