I reformatted my computer, how can i get all my stored dbx files back into Outlook ?

Today it was necessary for me to reformat. In the past when doing so I have made copies of all my email dbx files. Upon completion of the reformatting I have simply dropped the dbx files back into Outlook and have all my stored mail back in place.

I must be having a mental pause as this time, unfortunately I cannot get this to work. I would appreciate any assistance you are able to render.

Well one way to do it is to click on the message or messages you wish to save and then drag them over to a folder in Explorer Each one will be copied as individual messages Or close down OE and go to the folder in Explorer where the OE is housing the emails and copy the individual *.dbx files associated with the folders you have setup in OE to a folder and dirve of your choice.
