Whenever I click on Start, Documents, and My Documents; it takes me to the 'C' drive window, even though it says it is 'My Documents' in the address bar.

Whenever I try to save a notepad document to My Documents, it will say 'My Documents' up in the top window, but it is actually the C drive contents, and everything saves to the 'C' drive window. This only happens with notepad, not with wordpad.

If while trying to save, I click on the browse arrow in the top window, it takes me to a History window, which looks like my 'Recents' folder. Then, if I clean out my Recents folder, the stuff in the history window disappears. I don't know where this History window came from, how I get rid of it, and why my computer is doing this.
