I recently did a backup on my computer according to the owner manual. But when the system re-booted I received a error message that said:

Err5: Error Finding VFLOPPY.SYS

Err8: Fake Floppy driver not found

Press any key to boot active partitin

Now I am not able to use my CD/DVD drive (will not play cd's or movies).

I tried to do a restore and a undo the back up as according to my manual but the message remains as I boot up everytime.

Please any suggestions would be appreciated.

My tech support will not help.

First check to see if thier is a floopy in the drive if so remove the floppy and press the space bar to contuine booting from the hard drive if that doesnt work you might want to start in safe mode by pressing f5 or f8 and then reinstall the driver for the floopy.
