Hi,

My keyboard has suddenly started to malfunction and this seems to be primarily on the right hand side. Some examples of problems are as follows:

1) Arrow keys either not working at all or the left arrow key is producing a backward slash 2) Forward delete key not working at all

3) Page up and down & home and end buttons not working at all

4) the Control key on the right hand side is causing the 'caps lock' to light up.

As far as I know I didn't do anything to cause this but I'd be very grateful if you have any suggestions as to how to rectify this problem.

Thank you very much!!

Remove the the caps on the bad keys with a chip extractor Spray contact cleaner into the key well Repeatly depress the contact in order to clear it out Done use rubbing alcohol to clean the key well because it can add residue to the contact.

if this method of cleaning reslove the problem, then clean the adjacent keys as well.
