How do I impport email addresses?

I'm running ACT! 4 under Windows 2000 NT and I'm trying to

help a friend who has just bought a laptop to transfer her

ACT! data from her desktop to the laptop.

We've successfully exported the contacts into a .txt file but

when we try to import them into the laptop (my friend's laptop

is also on W200 NT) everything gets imported except the email

addresses.

Please can anyone help. If yes, please give step by step

instructions as to how to do this.

To import email addresses try:

1 In Address Book, click the File menu, point to Import, and then click Address Book (WAB)

2 Locate and select the address book you want to import, and then click Open
