When I'm online my computer freezes for about 30 seconds every few minutes. I've tried the things you suggested to others but nothing works so far. I have IE 6.0 and win98Se. I never had a problem until recently. My husband was online and he said the computer crashed and since then I have noticed this problem. I have reformatted my hard drive with the recovery disk that came with the computer but still no luck. A friend said it may be poling for memory. I'm not sure what that means. I haven't reloaded any of my programs except my ISP. I haven't reloaded my printer, scanner or cam. Please help. Thanks.

The problem is that u may need to upgrade on memory, your computer might be low on memory and runing too many programs at once also causes the computer too freeze, you may want to check up on adding RAM to your computer.
