When the icons are to big

After my son was attempting to reach a nintendo site, my computer developed Giant Icons and windows- I'd estimate sizes are 5 or more times larger then large icon settings . I've checked all the settings - nothing seems wrong. I can only see about half of your web page- if I had eye problems it might be ok.

For the record, I've just went through several weeks of problems with MSN-8 including dumping all MSN stuff then reinstalling the windows 98 and MSN-7. It seems that MSN-8 is a "worm" for windows 98 and 2000.

Is it possible that all these problems are related ie I didn't get all the MSN-8 garbage off and it came back to bite.

Any suggestions?

I want you to try this right click on your desktop then go to properties and then go into settings and tell me if your setting are set to 800 by 600 pixel if not, then setting them at that mark and clik apply this should work for you
