I see by your profile, you are using Windows 95, which has no real security to speak of The main reason for a login password under '95 is to call up user settings for each person who uses the PC.

Entering a new username will easily help you access the machine.

Renaming the appropriate .pwl (short for "password list") file will let you choose a new password.
