How do I get rid of my Browser Hijacker?

When i am on the internet there is an annoying site lop.com interupts my browsing and i cannot get it off my computer please help.

Just run-o-the-mill Spyware, my friend It was installed it when you or someone on your computer downloaded an mp3 search program, porn search program, or some other such program Lop.com is lovingly referred to as a "browser hijacker".

Download a copy of AdAware from Lavasoft.com or from Tucows.com Make sure it's version 5.7 or later Run it to see any Spyware programs running on your PC Remove the suggested programs, as many such utilities can cause problems, aside from potentially watching and reporting every move you make on the Internet.

Before installing any downloadable utilities in the future, do a search on Google com for the files in question Use the name of the program, along with the term "Spyware" as your search criteria Where there is Spyware, there will be someone on the Net blowing the whistle on such computerized parasites.

I notice by your profile, you are running Windows XP Good time to set up a user account just for browsing the internet Limit permissions so program installations cannot be performed Such a scenario prevents installation of trash items such as those purveyed by lop.com Built in security features of this most excellent Microsoft operating system can prevent future occurrences

It's not as difficult as it may seem You may peruse your Windows manual for helpful info.
