It is not recommended that you delete .dll files...heres the reason why:

System files such as dynamic link libraries (.dll files) and executable files (.exe files) When the system files are overwritten, system performance becomes unpredictable, programs behave erratically, and the operating system fails.

Double check to verify that the dll file that you are deleteing is not needed by the operating.

If you get this message again pop your xp cd and run a repair of your installation hopefully by doing you wont get this error message
