Mt computer no longer accepts a monitor.I went out and bought a new one,but it too does not go into the windows stage. thanks in advance for any help.

Test the Video card aslo if you see socked chips that are appear dirty or corroded consider removing them and cleaning the pins to replace the video card go into the setup and disable the shadowing of the video ROM use the nuts and bults discover pro to test the ram on the system board trade the system board for one that you know is good sometimes through rarely a perpheral chip on the board of the computer causes the problem ALSO CHECK THE SETTINGS IN WINDOWS AND ADJUST THE RESOLUTION.
