What are the proper steps for setup in XP for a 802 Wireless? It works for many bootups and then just stops and gives a DNS error. Cannot find server. I just bought this Gateway Laptop and may have not set up the explorer correctly also. Any suggestions or web pages to go to would of great interest.

Thank you

Carl

802.11b is a protocol used in wireless networks, the proper way to setup a wireless network is first have an ISP provider that you can access the internet via cable modem or dsl connect wireless router to the unit along with a wireless network 802.11b pcmcia card for your laptop The OS doesn't matter, and once you configure your system and load your drivers you shouldn't have any problems getting online.
