I recently was interested in adding another hard drive to my machine. I just need a little bit more space, and I have an old IBM Aptiva at home, so I was wondering if I could install the hard drive from my old Aptiva into my newer machine. I wasn't sure if the two parts would be compatable or not.

Thanks,

Ian

I suggest that you check if the hard drive in the old ibm aptiva is working properly and back up anything important in the old hard drive, you may need to format the hard drive in order to get better success putting in a new hard drive plus it would be more accessible if you did this.
